Heard both the sides. This bail application has been filed on behalf of Salomi Topno who is in custody since 13.03.2025 in connection with Dhurwa (Tupudana OP) P.S. Case No. 68 of 2025 (N) corresponding to NDPS Case No. 81 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 18(b), 25, 29 of NDPS Act is pressed into motion. As per the prosecution case, 1.5 kg. of Opium was seized from the house of co-accused Soma Purti and 2.6 kg. of Opium was seized from the scooty of Ajay Murmu in front of the house of the co-accused person. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that nothing has been seized either from the conscious physical possession of the petitioner or from her house. It is further submitted that said Soma Purti has been granted bail by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail but has not disputed the factual assertions made on behalf of the petitioner. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
