Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chatra Sadar P.S. Case No. 275 of 2021 for the offences registered under sections 27 (A). 28, 29, and 30 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, pending in the court of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (N.D.P.S.), Chatra.
On 28.08.2021, Chatra Sadar Police on the basis of confidential information, destroyed poppy cultivation in Hasot, a protected forest area. Name of the petitioner has transpired on the basis of confidential information that the petitioner was involved in cultivation of illegal opium.
Prosecution has not stated the name of the person who has implicated this petitioner in this case.
Considering the aforesaid facts, petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (N.D.P.S.), Chatra in connection with Chatra Sadar P.S.
