RANJAN SHARMA, ADDITIONAL ADVOCATE GENERAL) ….RESPONDENTS This petition coming on for admission this day, Hon’ble Ms. Justice Sabina, passed the following: O R D E R Petitioner has filed the petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking following relief:- “i). Your Lordships may graciously be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus in favour of the petitioner and against the respondent that they may kindly be directed to transfer the applicant from difficult sub- cadre area to non sub-cadre area or the area to the stations of his choice as mentioned in para No.9 against vacant post or against longer stay in the interest of justice. ii) that the respondents may kindly be directed to decide the representation of the petitioner in a time bound manner.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has completed her normal tenure in the difficult area and is now entitled for her transfer to a soft area, in terms of the transfer policy dated 10th July, 2013. Representation dated 5th May, 2022 3 (Annexure P-5), moved by the petitioner in this regard to respondent No.2, has not been decided so far.
#3. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied in case the respondents are directed to dispose of the representation dated 5th May, 2022 (Annexure P-5), in a time bound manner.

Accordingly, without adverting to the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 5th May, 2022 (Annexure P-5), moved by the petitioner expeditiously, in accordance with law, preferably within two weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
