Heard.
The Petitioner has approached this Court with a grievance against the Police that he has been harassed at the hand s of the Police and was detained by CID, Cell No.2, Jacob's Circle, Sat Rasta, Mumbai on the pretext that he is a Pakista ni Agent and he is likely to play game of Shri Sharad Pawar, who is the leader of Rashtravadi Congress Party and therefore, they will kill him in false encoun ter and for all these reasons the Responden t s may be directed to extend Police protection to the Petitioner so as to save him from two organised crime syndicates which are operating in the area and so also the Police.
On going through the Petition we are of the view that it would be proper that the Petitioner for the safety of his person, family members and property may employ private security guard and as so far as the alleged haras s m e n t at the hands of Police is concerned he need not attend any Police Station unless he receives sum mo n s under Section 160 of Cr.P.C. We further direct the Responden t s not to call the Petitioner without serving him with specific notice under Section 160 of Cr.P.C. With these directions the Petition stands dismissed. (SMT.ROSHAN DALVI, J.)
(SHRI. J.N. PATEL, J.)
