P.C. : Prima facie the order of attachment by the Commissioner for workmen's compensation on 23rd June, 2006 towards enforcing the award dated 31st August, 2005 is contrary to law. The award is made on a reference under Section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. However, having regard to the fact that while the Petition was admitted, interim relief came to be refused on 3rd April,
2006. Counsel appearing for the Applicant has fairly stated that the Applicant shall deposit before this Court the entire amount of back wages i.e. Rs.1,92,000/- as per the impugned award dated 2 31st August, 2005. The deposit, it is stated, shall be made within a period of two weeks from today. It would be open to the Respondent workmen to move the Court for appropriate orders after deposit. In view of the aforesaid statement made on behalf of the Applicant, there shall be an order in terms of prayer clause (a) of the Civil Application.
