JUSTICE TIRUMALA DI,VI EADA l.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2025 in/and CRIMINAL PETITION No.14272 of 20i r5 COMiI{ON ORDER This Crimrnal Petition is filed by the petitioners -accused Nos.1 and 2 under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 seekirr I to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.209 of 2022 r> r the file of Xlll Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Hyderab: 1, registered for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 498- \, 406, 504 and 506 of IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohi r tion Act, 1 961 .
2. lt is submitted by learned counsel app raring for the petitioners-accused Nos.1 and 2 as well as re r pondent No.2- de facto complainant that during pendency of the tr resent Criminal Petition, the parties have compromised the matter ( nd accordingly, l.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2025 have been filed seeking 1< compound the offences and to compromise the matter in ttr r above C.C., respectively
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor h. s opposed the said compromise petitions. 2 LTD-J Ctt? lt)t) )0)i
4. Perused the affidavit filed by the de facto complainant in l.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2025 which disclose that she has willingly consented for comprcnrise. Since the parties were will;ng to enter into compromise, they were given a Lrhance to settle the matter by appearing along with their respective counsel before the High Court Legal Services Committee for the State of Telangana vide order dated 04.1.1 .2025 passed by this Court. The Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee shall identify the parties and submit a report to that effect.
5. PurSuant to the above said direction issued by this Court, the parties along with their respective counsel have appeared before the High Court Legal Services Committee for the State of Telangana and the Secretary of the above said Authority identified the parties and submitted a report dated 17.11.2025 to that effect stating that the parties were identified and they have willfully and without any coercion entered into compromise as per the terms of compromise
6. ln view of the above, l.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2025 are allowed Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings \ in\C.C.No.209 of 2022 on the file of Xlll Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Hyderabad, registered against the petitioners-accused 3 (t-1p !1) 71 )0)j Nos.1 and 2, are hereby quashed subject to the pet tioners-accused Nos.'1 and 2 paying an amount of Rs.5,000r- (Rupees Five , housand Only) to the Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee, High Court for the State of Telangana, Hyderabad and Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) to'the Telangana Bar Association, Hyderabad, within a period of three ( )3) weeks from today and file proof of the same before the Registry 7 Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, sl- i ll stand closed.
