Cr1.M.P.No'27O of 2024 was hled by the petitioner unde r Section 9 1 of Cr'P.C, praylng the trial Court to d irect the respondent-State to produce CC TV footage of Sulthanabad Police Station from 13.06.2024 at 22OO hours io 14 06'2024 at OSOO hours and to produce the same before thc Court [or cross- examination of investigating o{ficers' The said petition was filed in the month of October, 2024. Generally the C-C'TV footage r,r.,ill be available with the concerned office for thirty days only' Furthermore, the guidelines of Apex Court with regard to installation and maintenalce of CC TV systems in the police 0 t ( { j I I ! {I l i I I i t I ! l : : i .9,jI 2 station as relied in Paramvir Singh Saiai V Baljit Siongh and others r is no way helpful to the petitioner as it is only to safeguard the human rights. Further, the investigating oflicers are not yet examined and the petitioner can take appropriate steps, if so warranted at appropriate time with regard to CC TV footage of Sulthanabad Police Station. petitioner can put suggestions to the investigating offrcers during their cross_ examination. As such, there is no illegality in the order of trial Court in dismissing the said petition ald the criminal petition is liable to be dismissed.
