The petitioner claims that since he is the Secretary of the Union, there is no justification for shifting him to the shift duties. He also averred that the impugned action is in violation of Section 9-A of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, which envisages giving advance notice before changing the conditions of employment. The petitioner further averred that the Union of which the petitioner is the Secretary made a representation on 05-02-2009 to respondent No.1 to give appropriate directions to respondent No.2-Management for posting the petitioner to general duty. Since the representation said to have been filed by the Union of which the petitioner is the Secretary is pending with respondent No.1, I consider it appropriate to direct him to dispose of the same, if not already done, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. As a sequel to disposal of main petition, WPMP No.10582 of 2009 filed by the petitioner for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous. C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY, J Dated 20th April, 2009
