THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE P.SWAROOP REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION No.5404 OF 2008 ORDER : This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. by the petitioner/respondent seeking to quash the proceedings D.V.C.No.26 of 2008 on the file of the X Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberaabd at Malkajgiri, registered under the provisions of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. 2) Heard. 3) Petitioner is the husband of the second respondent. The reliefs claimed in the complaint filed by the complainant are under Sections 18, 19, 20 and 22 i.e. protection against domestic violence and Order for Residence, maintenance, compensation, etc. 4) In view of the nature of reliefs claimed in the D.V.C., it is not at all a fit case for quashing the proceedings against petitioner/husband. 5) Hence, the criminal petition is dismissed. ______________________ P.SWAROOP REDDY, J 15th December, 2009 SUR
