Judgment

1.

The Principal Secretary to Government, revenue (Excise-I) Department, Government of A.P., Secretariat, Hyderabad. And one other. …RESPONDENTS THE HON'BLE MR JUSTICE B.PRAKASH RAO And THE HON'BLE MR JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN WRIT PETITION NO.14795 of 2006 ORDER: (Per the Hon’ble Mr Justice B.Prakash Rao)

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. The petitioner seeks implementation of the order dated

16.09.2003 in O.A.No.613 of 1999 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad (‘the Tribunal’ for brevity). Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the fact that the petitioner has an efficacious alternative remedy available under Section 17 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, we do not find any reason to entertain the Writ Petition. The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Tribunal and seek appropriate relief. No costs. _________________ (B.PRAKASH RAO, J) _______________________ (RAMESH RANGANATHAN, J) 20th July 2006 RRB
