Heard the learned counsel for both parties. The prayer in the writ petition is primarily to secure allotment of students in pursuance of counselling during the academic year 2004- 2005 and by virtue of the interim order, dated 23.03.2005, passed by this Court in W.P.M.P.No.8172 of 2005, directing the respondents to allot the students to the petitioners’ colleges in accordance with law notwithstanding the fact that they are not included in the list of colleges under G.O.Ms.No.48, dated 03.03.2005, the purpose of the writ petition was served long back and nothing remains for adjudication of the writ petition.
