Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed herein the High Court will be pleased to issue of Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, declaring a) the action of the respondents in not issuing the licenses to the petitioners, as illegal, arbitrary, and violative of Sec.7 of Andhra Pradesh (Agricultural Produce and Live Stock) Market Act, 1966 and Rules 48 to 50 of the Rules. b) and consequentially direct the respondents to issue the purchases licenses to the petitioners in pursuance of their applications. ORDER:
The grievance of the petitioners is that they have submitted applications for issuance of licences and paid the requisite fee and respondents have not issued the licences as yet. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents has promptly placed before this Court the licences, which are said to have been made ready to be issued to the petitioners. He also undertakes to issue Xerox copies of the same to the learned counsel for the petitioners. In that view of the matter, the writ petition is closed, leaving it open to the petitioners to collect original licences from the concerned authority. There shall be no order as to costs.
