The District Collector, 5th respondent herein has filed counter affidavit and enclosed copies of various proceedings and correspondence. A perusal of the same indicates that the directions issued by this Court in the matter of assignment or allotment of tank-bed land are flouted. The 1st respondent is therefore directed to appear before this Court on 08-12-2003. The 7th respondent is present before this Court. A reading of the counter affidavit filed by the 5th respondent discloses that the decision taken by himself and the 7th respondent has nothing to do with the matter. Hence her presence is dispensed with. Post on 08-12-2003
