The writ appellant unsuccessfully challenged the G.O.Rt.No.348, dated 17.5.2007 notifying M/s.Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Company Limited as a nodal agency for supply of furniture during the financial years 2006-07 and 2007-08 and deliver at school point as supplied by the agency. Since the financial year is already over and for the financial year 2008-09 the contract has not been awarded to the 5th respondent-M/s.Godrej and Boyce Manufacturing Company Limited, no further cause survives in the writ appeal. Accordingly, the writ appeal is dismissed. The appellant is at liberty to work out the remedies available to it for violation of instructions issued in G.O.Ms.No.51, dated 01.6.2010.
