Rehman, Adv. respondent no. 2 in person. for respondent no.2 along with in person. +Crl. M.C. 3133/2010 •k Petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 2 were married on 7^ June, 1994 as per Muslim rites and ceremonies. On account of matrimonial discord they started living separately since March, 2005. On the complaint of respondent no.2, FIR No. 126/2006 under Sections 406/498-A/34 IPG was registered against the petitioners at Police Station Sadar Bazar. Petitioner nos. 2 to 9 are relatives of petitioner no.l. With the intervention of common friends and family friends petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 2 have resolved their disputes amicably. They have decided to part ways and have obtained Talaq. Respondent no. 2, who is present in the Court, admits having obtained Talaq from the petitioner no.l. She has no objection if the FIR is quashed. Keeping in mind that parties have decided to part ways and obtained Talaq, I am of the view that no fruitful purpose would be served in compelling the parties to continue to litigate protracted trial.
