This is an Application filed on behalf of the Respondent seeking release of amount lying deposited in this Court in terms of order dated
23.12.1999 passed by this Court.
Learned Counsel for Petitioner points out that the order of dismissal dated 06.07.2023, passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court, was challenged by the Petitioner. A Division Bench of this Court by its order dated 16.01.2024 in LPA being LPA 770/2023 directed that the Respondent is restrained from withdrawing the amount deposited by the Appellant.
2.1 Learned Counsel for the Petitioner further submits that the said LPA is still pending and is now listed on 12.09.2024.
