The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Athmalgola P.S. Case No. 160 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 120(B)/302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner and others are said to have taken away the deceased and thereafter, the deceased has been killed. His dead body has been found in the field. The informant is the wife of the victim. The petitioner is in jail since 21.11.2023.
It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the postmortem report does not disclose as to how the deceased was killed. Viscera report is awaited.
