Delhi Municipal Corporation Act — Section 514

514. Limits of New Delhi Municipality.—Notwithstanding anything contained in the Punjab Municipal Act, 1911, (Punjab Act 3 of 1911) as applicable to New Delhi Municipality or in any notification issued thereunder, the limits of that Municipality shall be as described in the First Schedule.

Transitory provision.—Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the Central Government may, if necessary, appoint a person to be called the Special Officer, to exercise the powers and discharge the functions of the Corporation until the day on which the first meeting of the Corporation is held after the commencement of the Delhi Municipal Corporation (Amendment) Act, 1993.]
