Read order dated September 17, 2024. The State has filed a status report. Let the same be kept with the records.

We find that 10 out of 32 charge sheet named witnesses have already been examined. Learned State Counsel says that only 6 more prosecution witnesses will be examined. The next date is September 30, 2024.

Since the trial is at an advanced stage and in view of the huge quantity of contraband items having been recovered from the petitioner, we are not inclined to allow his prayer for bail.
