Mr. Agarwala, learned advocate on behalf of the State produces the case-diary and submits that the police authorities were restrained from carrying out their duties. We have considered the factum that the petitioner is in the employment of the Kolkata Police and as such there is hardly any chance of absconsion. Thus, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is allowed. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, and till the petitioner 2 surrenders before the learned ACJM, Ranaghat, he would meet the Investigating Officer of the case once in a week. Accordingly, CRM (A) 2150 of 2023 is allowed and disposed of. (Rai Chattopadhyay, J.) (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
