1. Heard Sri Shobhit Kant, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.G.A. for the State, Sri Kshitij Chandra, learned counsel for the respondent No.6 and Sri Narendra Kumar Yadav, learned counsel for the respondent No.7.

2. This petition has been filed challenging an F.I.R. bearing Case Crime No.0179/2025, under Sections 137(2), 87 B.N.S., Police Station Babu Banarsi Das (B.B.D.), District Lucknow.

3. This Court had passed the following order on 03.11.2025:- "1. Vakalatnama filed by Sri Kshitij Chandra,Advocate on behalf of the respondent no.6 and vakalatnama filed by Sri Narendra Kumar Yadav,Advocate on behalf of the respondent no.7 is taken on record.

2. Heard Sri Shobhit, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned AGA and learned counsel for the respondent nos.6 and 7.

3. This petition has been filed challenging the F.I.R. dated 31.07.2025 vide Case Crime No.0179/2025, under Sections 137(2), 87 B.N.S.(old Section 363, 366 IPC), P.S. Babu Banarsi Das(B.B.D.) District Lucknow.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the parties have settled their dispute and entered into compromise and the petitioner and the respondent no.7 have got solemnized their marriage, on account of which, the respondent no.6 is also ready for quashing of the impugned F.I.R., as they are living happily. 2 CRLP No. 10066 of 2025 The compromise has been annexed alongwith the petition as Annexure No.3. Thus, the submission is that the impugned F.I.R. may be quashed.

5. Learned counsel for the respondent nos. 6 and 7 does not dispute the contention of learned counsel for the petitioner and submit that since the parties have settled their dispute amicably, therefore, the F.I.R. may be quashed.

6. Learned A.G.A. submits that in case the parties have entered into compromise, the same may be got verified and the appropriate orders may be passed accordingly.

7. In view of above, the parties are directed to appear before the Senior Registrar of this court on 13.11.2025 for verification of the compromise, who after verifying the compromise in presence of the parties, shall submit a report before the next date. the name of Sri Kshitij 8. List on 24.11.2025 showing Chandra,Advocate and Sri Narendra Kumar Yadav,Advocate as counsel for the respondent in the cause list. "

In pursuance to the aforesaid order, the compromise dated 14.10.2025, which has been entered between the parties and placed on record of this petition, has been verified by the Senior Registrar of this Court in presence of the petitioner and the respondent Nos.6 and 7, who have admitted that they have entered into compromise on their own free will. In this regard, a report dated 13.11.2025 of the Senior Registrar of this Court is also annexed with the order sheet of this writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and the respondent no.7 have got solemnized their marriage, on account of which, the respondent no.6 is also ready for quashing of the impugned F.I.R., as they are living happily. He further submits that since the parties have entered into compromise and the same has been verified by the Senior Registrar of this Court, therefore, the proceedings arising out of Case Crime No.0179/2025, under Sections 137(2), 87 B.N.S., Police Station Babu Banarsi Das (B.B.D.), District Lucknow may be quashed as no fruitful purpose will be served by keeping the same pending.

6. Learned A.G.A. as well as learned counsel for the respondent Nos.6 and 7 do not dispute the contentions of learned counsel for the petitioner. Even otherwise learned counsel for the respondent Nos.6 submits that the impugned F.I.R. was lodged on the basis of instigation of others without knowing the correct facts and the fact is that the respondent No.7 had gone on her own with her sweet will. Thus, since the parties have settled their dispute outside the Court, the respondent Nos.6 and 7 do not want to 3 CRLP No. 10066 of 2025 pursue the prosecution in pursuance to the impugned F.I.R. and the same may be quashed.

7. Learned counsel for the parties have also placed reliance upon the judgments rendered by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the cases of State of Haryana and Others Vs. Bhajan Lal and Others; 1992 SCC (Crl.)426, Dimpey Gujral and Others Vs. Union Territory Through Administrator; 2013 (11) SCC 497, Narendra Singh and Others Vs. State of Punjab and Others; 2014 (6) SCC 466 and Yogendra Yadav And Others Vs. State of Jharkhand; 2014 (9) SCC 653.

Considering the submissions of learned counsel for the parties and keeping in view the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the above referred judgments as well as in view of the statement/compromise made by the petitioner as well as the respondent Nos.6 and 7 that the petitioner and the respondent no.7 have got solemnized their marriage, on account of which, the respondent no.6 is also ready for quashing of the impugned F.I.R., as they are living happily and the compromise verification report dated 13.11.2025 of the Senior Registrar of this Court, by means of which the compromise entered between the parties has been verified in presence of the parties and the fact that the dispute is a personal dispute and in fact it appears there was no dispute as stated by learned counsel for the respondent No.6, therefore, it may not affect in any manner the society at large, and also that since the parties have entered into compromise and the respondent Nos.6 and 7 do not want to prosecute the petitioner, there are very weak chances of conviction, the impugned F.I.R. lodged vide Case Crime No.0179/2025, under Sections 137(2), 87 B.N.S., Police Station Babu Banarsi Das (B.B.D.), District Lucknow is hereby quashed so far as it relates to the instant petitioner.
