Judgment
No one appears on behalf of the revisionist to press this revision. Sri Birendra Pratap Singh, learned counsel for the State and perused the material on record.
The present revision under Sections 397/401 Cr.P.C. has been preferred by the revisionist- Ram Sahai Anuragi, against the judgement and order dated dated 17.08.2015 passed by Additional Sessions Judge, Court No.1, Mahoba in Criminal Appeal No.13 of 2013 affirming the judgment and order dated 07.02.2013 passed by Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mahoba whereby revisionist has been convicted and sentenced under Section 7(i)(V)/16(1)(a)/Section 2(ia)(m) of Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954 to 6 months R.I, with fine of Rs.1,000/- and in default of payment of fine the revisionist shall undergo 15 days additional simple imprisonment.
As per the report dated 26.03.2025 a report has been received from the C.J.M., Mahoba stating therein that the revisionist- Ram Sahai Anuragi has died.
Perused the said report dated 25.03.2025 of the C.J.M., Mahoba to the said effect which has been sent after due verification.
Operative part
In view of the same, the present revision is dismissed as abated since the revisionist has died.
The matter be consigned to records.
