By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following substantial reliefs: "A. a writ, order or direction, in the nature of mandamus, commanding the respondents, specifically the respondent no.3/ Superintendent of Police, Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited, Shakti Bhawan, Lucknow to sanction and release the Medical Reimbursement to the petitioner for Rs. 6,61, 119/- (Rupees Six Lacs, Sixty One Thousand One Hundred and Nineteen) for which he is legally entitled. "

It transpires that certain objections were raised in the letter written to the Superintendent-II Power Corporation, Shakti Bhawan, Lucknow.

Let the matter be examined by the competent authority in the matter namely respondent No. 3 and pass appropriate orders upon the pending claim of medical reimbursement moved by petition. The appropriate decision shall be taken in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible within a period of two months from the receipt of certified copy of this order.
