Judgment

2010 (State vs. Anupm Agrawaal and others), arising out of Case Crime No.893 of 2009, under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506 IPC and 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station- New Agra, District Agra, were quashed by this Court vide order dated 22.11.2019 in Application U/S 482 No.19074 of 2013. 2 A482 No. 6840 of 2016

Sri Dileep Kumar, Senior Advocate, assisted by Sri Sudhanshu Kumar, learned counsel for the applicants submits that the proceedings in question relates to a offences under Sections 406, 504 and 506 IPC, which are all compoundable and parties have amicably settled the dispute.

Along with the application, mentioned above, a copy of the compromise has been filed at page 15, which Sri Dileep Kumar, Senior Advocate, submits has been adhered to in letter and spirit.

Considering the fact that the offences are compoundable and also the parties have amicably settled their dispute, the pendency of the proceedings would now amount to an abuse of process of law.

Accordingly, the entire proceedings of Complaint Case No.585 of 2013 (Aarti vs. Anupm Agrawaal & others) under Sections 406, 504, 506 IPC pending in the Court of IVth Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Agra are hereby quashed.
