Heard Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Mr. Gopal Ji Rai, Mr. Ramesh Chandra Dwivedi, Mr. Adarsh Singh, Mr. Mahesh Sharma, Mr. Rajnish Kumar Srivastava, Mr. Tanuj Shahi and Mr. Shailesh Pandey, learned counsel for petitioners; Mr. Ashish Kumar Singh Nagvanshi, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel and Mr. Shailendra Singh, learned Standing Counsel for State respondents.

2. This Court has passed various orders in these writ petitions and finally, it is brought on record that prayer of the petitioners, so far as payment of gratuity is concerned, has been substantially addressed and gratuity is paid.

3. Learned counsels for the petitioners submit that now the only issue which remains for consideration is in regard to payment of interest, on delayed payment of gratuity, however, this Court is of the opinion that since the matter was seized with this Court and the petitioners also came before this Court after a very substantial period, therefore, so far as the issue of payment of interest is concerned it can be considered only at least from the date of effective circular, dated 14.06.2023. Accordingly, the parties can file representation for calculating interest, at the rate of nine percent, with effect from the date of circular, dated 14.06.2023 and the same will be considered in accordance with law by the concerned respondent.
