3. Mr. Pankaj Miglani, learned counsel appearing t he Public Service Com m ission/ respondent no.2 subm it s t hat aft er select ion, result of bot h pet it ioners was declared on 03.12.2020. He subm it s t hat pet it ioner no.1 scored 56 m arks only whereas m arks scored by last candidat e belonging t o Ut t arakhand Fem ale ( General Cat egory) was 65, t herefore, pet it ioner no.1 was not recom m ended for appoint m ent .

He furt her subm it s t hat since pet it ioner no.2 belongs t o Ut t arakhand Wom en ( Scheduled Cast e Cat egory) and t he m arks scored by last candidat e belonging t o said cat egory was 45 and pet it ioner no.2 also scored 45 m arks, t herefore, her nam e was recom m ended for appoint m ent t o t he com pet ent aut horit y. Thus, Mr. Miglani, learned counsel respondent no.2 subm it s t hat t he reliefs claim ed by pet it ioners do not survive aft er declarat ion of t heir result .

5. We find subst ance in t he subm ission t hat in view of t he developm ent s which t ook place during pendency of t he writ pet it ion, reliefs as claim ed in t he 2 writ pet it ion do not survive.
