By means of this writ petition, the petitioner has sought respondent mandamus directing no. representation dated 09.10.2004. decide 3 1 The dispute pertains to the election of a Co-operative Society, the U.P. Co- conducted under operative Societies Act, 1965. Sub-Rule (2) of rule 229 read with clause (e) of rule 230 and rule 444 (C) of U.P. Co- operative Societies Rules, 1968 with reference to Section 70 and 71 of U.P. Co-operative Societies Act, 1965, provides forum for challenging the election pertaining to a Society. As such the writ petition is not maintainable and the same is disposed of summarily with the observation that the petitioner is at liberty to get the dispute referred to the District Magistrate, District- Udham Singh Nagar, disposal.
