Although, in the writ petitions, a direction is sought to the respondents to extend the petitioners notional and other service benefits from the date similarly situated persons have been extended these benefits under the LDC recruitment, 2013; but, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that they would feel contented if they are granted a liberty to submit representation(s) [2025:RJ-JP:34498] (9 of 9) [CW-13049/2025] with the respondents for redressal of their grievance(s) who may be directed to decide the same expeditiously taking into consideration the order/judgment of this Court dated 18.07.2018 passed in the case of Nand Kishore Sharma and Others vs. State of Rajasthan and Others: S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.12109/2018. In view of the nature of prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and an order of this Court dated 02.02.2024 passed in the case of Pawan Meena versus The State of Rajasthan & Ors.: SB Civil Writ Petition No.1665/2024, these writ petitions are disposed of in following terms without issuing notice to the respondents: (1) The petitioners are at liberty to file representation(s) with the respondents for redressal of their grievance(s) within a period of four weeks from today. (2) The respondents shall pass a reasoned and speaking order thereon within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt taking into consideration the order/judgment of this Court dated 18.07.2018 passed in the case of Nand Kishore Sharma (supra) with communication of the decision to them. (3) If the petitioners are found eligible and entitled for grant of notional and other service benefits as paid to the similarly situated employees, the compliance shall be made within a period of 8 weeks from the date of taking the decision.
