1. Counsel for the petitioners submits that the controversy involved in these petitions is covered by the judgment passed by this Court in case of Anokha Bai Vs. State of Rajasthan and Ors. in S.B. Civil Writ Petition No. 372/2013. Counsel submits that these matters pertain to grant of minimum of the pay scale of Class IV employees looking to the long length of their service. Counsel submits that these petitions be disposed of in the light of the order passed by this Court in the case of Anokha Bai (Supra).
2. Per contra, counsel for the respondents opposes the arguments raised by counsel for the petitioners and submits that these petitions be disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioners to approach the State Authorities. Counsel submits that in case, the petitioners submit any representation in this regard, the same would be decided strictly in accordance with law.
3. Considering the above factual aspect of the matter, these petitions are disposed of, granting liberty to the petitioners to file representation before the respondents. The respondents are expected to decide the same strictly in accordance with law, taking into account the directions issued by this Court in the case of Anokha Bai (Supra) to the extent of its applicability in the present matters. In the eventuality of its applicability, the respondents are directed to grant similar benefits to the petitioners as well.
4. Before parting with this order, it is made clear that this Court has not issued any order/direction to the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioners in a particular way, the [2025:RJ-JP:13185] (7 of 7) [CW-13667/2024] respondents would be at liberty to decide the same strictly in accordance with law.
