It wa It was further informed by the secr e secret informant t mant that Gurjit Singh had also recei o received a smuggled consignment o ment of heroin and in and weapons during the past few t few days. The said FIR contains th ains the names of f es of four suspects allegedly having c aving cross-border links and indulgin dulging in smugglin uggling of weapons and narcotic sub tic substances. 3. Learned State counsel has app has appeared and filed the status repo s report dated 13.10 d 13.10.2025 in Court, which is taken taken on record. As per the said statu id status report, Gu rt, Gurjit Singh, son of Sajjan Sing Singh, resident of Dnade, Amritsa mritsar, was appreh apprehended in the said area while c hile carrying a bag. On search of th h of the bag, recov recovery of two packets of heroin w eroin weighing 700 grams each (tot h (total 1.400 kilog 0 kilograms), along with an electron ectronic weighing scale, was effecte ffected. On persona ersonal search of the accused Gurjit Gurjit Singh, one Oppo mobile phon e phone and ₹1,00 ₹1,000/- in cash were also reco recovered. During the course o urse of investigatio stigation, the names of other accuse accused persons, namely Baljit Sing it Singh and Sande Sandeep Singh @ Deepu, also s also surfaced regarding their activ r active involvemen lvement in a cross-border network twork engaged in the smuggling o ling of weapons ons and narcotics. At the spot, co-accused Balj d Baljit Singh, son of Balwant Sing t Singh, was also a also apprehended. On his personal 9 MM sonal search, recovery of one 9 MM Glock pist k pistol along with a magazine con containing five live cartridges, on es, one iPhone 15, ne 15, and ₹1,100/- in cash were reco re recovered. 4.

Learned counsel for the petiti petitioner submits that even as per th per the allegations ations made in n the petition including status report, nothin inc nothing substantial tantial is alleged against the petitio etitioner except alleged recovery o very of weapons th ons that too on the basis of disclo disclosure statement of Gurjit Sing t Singh, from under under-construction house. 5. However, the petitioner is er is not the same person, because h se his complete identification and req d required particulars are “Sandee ndeep Singh @ Deepu, aged about 3 ut 30 years, son of Mukhtar Sing Singh, r/o village Jhabal, District Tarn Tarn Taran, (Aadhar No. 8496 138 6 1385 . 3171) (M.No. 99889-37083)”. Thus, counsel submits mits that having apprehension of h of his arrest, petitioner be granted con d concession of anticipatory bail. 3. 4. Notice of motion.
