The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.216 dated 21.09.2021, under Sections 363, 366-A IPC, 1860, registered at Police Station City-1, Abohar, District Fazilka (Annexure P-1) and all other consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise deed dated 20.09.2022 (Annexure P-2), executed between the parties.

As per the report received from the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Abohar, the parties did not appear for recording of their statements.

Learned State counsel has informed that the matter is still under investigation.

Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh as and when final report/challan under Section 173 Cr.P.C. is presented before the trial Court.

Dismissed as withdrawn with aforesaid liberty. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand disposed of.
