(ORAL) This is a petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to re-fix the pay of petitioner equal to salary being paid to respondent No.5 and to pay the salary to the petitioner after calculating the difference qua the salary being paid to respondent No.5 and other juniors to the petitioner along with arrears and interest @ 18% per annum. Contends that the petitioner had issued notice under Section 124 of the Cooperative Societies Act. However, the same has not been decided till date. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of, at this stage, with a direction to the respondents to decide the notice dated
21.04.2008 (Annexure P-2), as expeditiously as possible, preferably within two months from the receipt of a copy of this order. However, in case, the petitioner is found entitled for the said C.W.P. No.24248 of 2011 2 relief, the same shall be released forthwith. In case, the claim of the petitioner is to be rejected, the same shall be by passing a speaking order.
