Punjab for the respondents. M ehinder S ingh S ullar , J. (Oral) As is evident from the record, that the petitioner has filed the instant writ petition, directing the respondents to release the incentive/subsidy and other benefits, in pursuance of the Industrial Policy notified, by virtue of notification dated 20.3.1996 and rules framed thereof and published, by way of notification dated 1.6.1996.

At the very outset, the learned counsel has very fairly submitted that as the respondents have already released the subsidy in question to the petitioner, therefore, the present writ petition becomes infructuous, which may be disposed of as such.

The learned State counsel did not raise any objection in this relevant connection.
