CORAM:- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE JASWANT SINGH. Present:- None for the Petitioner. Mr. Gaurav Garg Dhuriwala, AAG Punjab. *** JASWANT SINGH, J(ORAL) Prayer under Article 226 of Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for the release of detenues mentioned in para no.4 of the petition, who are allegedly illegally detained by respondents no.1 to 4 as bonded labour at the brick kiln owned by them. Upon notice reply by way of affidavit of Mr. Pritpal Singh Thind, Superintendent of Police, Detective Sangrur on behalf of respondents no.1,3 & 4 has been filed wherein it is stated that after conducting enquiry through SHO Police Station Cheema it was found that all the labour working at the aforesaid brick kiln was free to move any where and there is no boundary wall and they had been paid their wages regularly. It is further stated that the persons mentioned in the petition were Crl. Writ Petition No.2204 of 2010 #2# provided with all necessary facilities as well as basic amenities and if they do not want to work there the owner of the brick kiln has no objection and is ready to drop them along with their belongings to their respective villages by a hired truck bearing no.PB-13W 9628. The charges of the aforesaid truck were paid by the owner of the brick kiln in the presence of SHO PS Cheema as well as Executive Magistrate, Sunam. In view of the aforesaid reply depicting the exact situation regarding release of detenues mentioned in para no.4 of the petition, nothing survives in the instant petition as the same has become infructuous.
