Present: By post. Mr. B.S. Sra, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, for the respondent. Kanwaljit Singh Ahluwalia, J. (Oral) A telegram was received by this Court on 13.7.2010 and the same has been treated as a Criminal Writ Petition, wherein it is stated that Major Singh was picked up by the police. In response thereto, an affidavit has been filed by Jasdev Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dalha Police, District Ludhiana (Rural), wherein it is stated that Major Singh was arrested in case FIR No. 298 dated 7.11.2009, registered at Police Station Jagraon, under Sections 364, 325, 367, 323, 342, 506, 148 and 149 IPC and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959. It is further stated that lateron Major Singh was granted regular bail by this Court, vide order dated 9.7.2010, passed in Criminal Misc. No. M-15568 of 2010. Since the custody of Major Singh was in accordance with the Criminal Writ Petition No. 1322 of 2010 2 provisions of law, no further directions are called for, the present writ petition is disposed of.
