(Oral) Quashing of FIR No. 302 dated 30.12.2010 under Sections 420, 494, 506, 120-B IPC registered at Police Station Civil Lines Batala, Distt. Batala (Annexure P1) is being sought. On notice, reply has been filed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division City Batala, stating that the FIR was registered on the statement of Sukhdip Kaur wife of Satnam Singh that her marriage was solemnized on 10.6.1999 and she was blessed with a Crl. Misc. No. M-6576 of 2011 (O&M) [ 2 ] daughter on 7.9.2002. Alleging harassment and mal- treatment by her husband and on the allegation that he was threatening her that he will marry again, the FIR was registered. During investigation, the complainant gave an affidavit duly attested by Executive Magistrate on 30.5.2011 stating that she does not want to proceed further in the above said case and the respectable of the area have affected their compromise. On the basis of the affidavit of compromise, a cancellation report has been prepared under Section 173 Cr.P.C. and the same has been presented in the trial Court of Smt. Hargurjit Kaur PCS, JMIC Batala on

6.9.2012. No further orders are required to be passed as cancellation report has already been submitted in this case. Disposed of.
