CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE JASBIR SINGH HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE PRITAM PAL PRESENT:
Mr. Rakesh Dhiman, Advocate, for the petitioner. JASBIR SINGH, J. (oral)
JUDGMENT:
By making a complaint before the Deputy Commissioner, it has been said by the petitioner that in view of disqualification prescribed under Section 175(1)(q) of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, respondent No. 3 is liable to be removed from the office of Sarpanch. This Court feels that in view or ordinance dated August 17, 2006, vide which above mentioned provision has been deleted from the statute w.e.f. January 1, 2005, Deputy Commissioner has no power to pass any order, what-so-ever in that regard. In view of the above circumstances, the writ petition stands disposed of.
