CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK Present : Mr. Sanjiv Gupta, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Kshitij Sharma, AAG, Haryana. Mr. D.N.Ganeriwala, Advocate for respondents No. 4 to 7. **** RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK J. (ORAL) Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of the investigation agency, the petitioner has approached this Court, by way of instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., invoking its inherent jurisdiction, for staying the inquiry by the District Police or hand over the investigation to some other independent agency to conclude the investigation in FIR No. 746 dated 9.11.2010 under Sections 368, 506, 34 IPC, registered at Police Station City Sirsa. Notice of motion was issued and pursuant thereto, reply by way of affidavit dated 15.3.2011 of Puran Chand, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Head Quarter), was filed. Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, submits that since during the pendency of this petition, investigation has been concluded and report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. has been filed before the court, it has become infructuous and he does not intend to press this petition.
