Gill, AAG, Punjab. **** Petitioner Kulwinder Singh has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus, alleging therein that his servant Ram Chander son of Laloo was illegally taken into custody by SHO Police Station Sadar Nakodar on 23.8.2006 at about 5.00 A.M.
