BEDI, J. (ORAL) Petitioners seek quashing of FIR No. 224 dated August 19, 2011 under Sections 376 (2) IPC registered at Police Station Hathin, District Palwal, claiming that the matter has been compromised. No doubt, respondent No.3 prosecutrix is present in the Court but State counsel on the instructions of HC Harpal Singh has informed that cancellation report has already been submitted in the case. CRM M-23317 of 2012 [2] This petition is disposed of with a direction that final decision will be taken by the higher authorities regarding cancellation of the FIR within a period of one month and in case approved, the cancellation report will be presented within a period of 15 days thereafter before the Illaqa Magistrate. It will be open to the complainant-respondent No.2 and prosecutrix respondent No.3 to appear before the Court and make a statement regarding their consent for cancellation of the FIR. Since the prosecutrix claims that she is happily married, it is directed that the Court concerned will dispose of the matter expeditiously on appearance of the complainant before the Court concerned.
