(Oral) The prayer under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of directions to transfer the investigation of case FIR No.73 dated 20.06.2021 under Sections 302, 148, 149 IPC and Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act, 1959 registered at Police Station Division No.2, Jalandhar to an independent agency; like Central Bureau of Investigation. The learned State counsel, on instructions, submits that during the course of investigation it transpired that six persons have committed the offence in question. One of the six, namely, Gurcharan Singh has passed away. Two accused, namely Vikas Dahiya @ Vikas Mahle son of Ranjit and Kaushal Chaudhary have been challaned, whereas three accused, namely, SATISH KUMAR 2024.04.03 15:18 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court Chandigarh CRM-M-6985-2022 -2- Gaurav Patial @ Lucky son of Surinder Singh, Puneet Sharma son of Rajinder Sharma and Narinder @ Lalli son of Subhash Chandra are absconding.
