CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE KANWALJIT SINGH AHLUWALIA Present: None for the petitioner. Mr. Amit Chaudhary, Assistant Advocate General Punjab for the State. KANWALJIT SINGH AHLUWALIA, J. (ORAL) In the present petition, filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., two prayers were made. Firstly, SHO, Police Station, Basant Park, Ludhiana should register a case against the persons mentioned in the head-note, i.e., Dilbagh Rana, B.K.Bansal and Rattan Singla under sections 452/ 323/ 341/ 354/ 506/ 34 IPC. Secondly, it was prayed that life and property of the petitioner should be protected. Regarding first prayer, recently Hon’ble Apex Court has held in Skiri Vasu v. State of U.P. 2008 (1) RCR (Criminal) that no directions can be issued as prayed by the petitioner under section 482 Cr.P.C. by this court. Regarding second prayer, the present petition was filed on 6th May, 2004. Prayer for protection for life and property had not been renewed in the last four years.
