AGGARWAL,J This is petition against order dated 13.12.2006 passed by Additional District Judge, Hoshiarpur whereby an application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act for maintenance pendente lite and litigation expenses was allowed and Kashmir Kaur wife was allowed Rs.1500/- per month as maintenance pendente lite and Rs.2200/- as litigation expenses. The facts of the case are that Surjan Ram, present petitioner being husband filed petition under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act against Kashmir Kaur. In that petition, Kashmir Kaur made an application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, which was allowed. On behalf of the petitioner, it is argued that the salary of the C.R.No.222 of 2007 #2# petitioner is only Rs.8804/-. Petitioner had taken loan and he is paying about Rs.2000/- per month as instalment. He is maintaining three children born out of the marriage and Rs.1500/- allowed by the trial Judge was on the higher side and it should be reduced. After taking into account the facts of the case, I do not find that the amount awarded is on the higher side. No merit. Dismissed. January 18, 2007 ( M.M. AGGARWAL ) JUDGE
