Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
In the event, the petitioner alleges that some bribe has been demanded by the police personnel, his remedy would be to lodge the report against him and on failure of the authorities to do so, he may approach the concerned Magistrate under Section 156 (3) Cr.P.C. [now Section 175 (3) of BNSS].
Writ would not lie for such purposes before this Court at the first instance.
