Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State. The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C./ 529 B.N.S.S. has been filed with the following prayers : "For the facts, reasons, grounds and circumstances stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble court may kindly be pleased to quash the criminal proceedings of the Criminal Case No. 95473 of 2024 "State Vs. Akshay Agarwal & others" arising out of Charge-sheet No.- 01 dated 20.08.2024 based on the Case Crime No. 184 of 2024, Under Sections- 498-A, 323, 504, 506, 354 IPC and Section ½ of Dowry Prohibition Act 1961, at Police Station- Krishna Nagar, District Lucknow as well as the Summoning order dated 19.12.2024 in Criminal Case No. 95473 of 2024 "State Vs. Akshay Agarwal & others" arising out of Charge-sheet No.- 01 dated 20.08.2024 based on the Case Crime No. 184 of 2024 registered on 08.05.2024 under Sections-498-A, 323, 504, 506, 354 IPC and Section ½ of Dowry Prohibition Act 1961, at Police Station- Krishna Nagar, District - Lucknow. It is further prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to stay the further proceedings of Criminal Case No. 95473 of 2024 "State Vs. Akshay Agarwal & others" arising out of Charge-sheet No. 01 dated 20.08.2024 based on the Case Crime No. 184 of 2024, Under Sections- 498-A, 323, 504, 506, 354 IPC and Section % of Dowry Prohibition Act 1961, at Police Station Krishna Nagar, District Lucknow as well as the Summoning order dated 19.12.2024 in Criminal Case No. 95473 of 2024 "State Vs. Akshay Agarwal & others" arising out of Charge-sheet No. 01 dated 20.08.2024 based on the Case Crime No. 184 of 2024, Under Sections- 498-A, 323, 504, 506, 354 IPC and Section of Dowry Prohibition Act 1961, at Police Station- Krishna Nagar, District Lucknow, pending before the Judicial Magistrate VII, Court No. 31, Lucknow during the pendency of this Application/Petition. " Issue notice to the Respondent No.2. Learned counsel for the applicant prays for and is granted seven working days' time for taking steps.
