ORDER 28.07.2026 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The Petitioner is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with C.T. Case No.372 of 2026 pending on the file of learned JMFC-l(Cog. Taking), Bhubaneswar, arising out of Tamando P.S. Case No.125 of 2026 for commission of offences punishable under Sections 316(2) of BNS.

Taking into account the nature of allegations and punishment prescribed, this Court has no iota of doubt that the investigating agency shall scrupulously follow the guidelines laid down by the Apex Court in the case of Arnesh Kumar vrs. State of Bihar & another, (2014) 8 SCC 273 and reiterated in the case of Satender Kumar Antil vrs. Central Bureau of Investigation & another, (2022) 10 SCC 51.
