#1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State.

#2. Mr. G. Misra, Senior Advocate files Valakalatnama on behalf of the Petitioner in Court today, the same be taken on record.

#3. By means of this application, the Petitioner seeks grant of bail U/s. 438 of CrPC in apprehension of arrest for his alleged involvement in the offences U/s. 13(2) r/w 13)(1)(b) P.C. (Amendment) Act.

#4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the present Petitioner is similarly placed with the co-accused who has already been released on bail.

Keeping in view the allegations appearing in the FIR, the circumstances appearing, the seriousness and gravity of the offences while this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail, it is directed // 2 // that in the event the Petitioner surrenders and moves for bail in connection with Berhampur Vigilance PS Case No.1 of 2024 corresponding to GR Case No.1 of 2024 (V) pending before the learned Special Judge (Vigilance), Berhampur within a period of three weeks hence, the Petitioner shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as would be deemed just and proper by the said court subject to condition that he shall procure of his documents in his possession and violation of conditions shall entail cancellation of the bail.
