Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State.

By means of this application, the Petitioner seeks grant of bail U/s.438 Cr.P.C. in apprehension of arrest for her alleged involvement in the offences U/s. 341/323/307/506/34, IPC in connection with Turumunga P.S. Case No.82 of 2024 corresponding to G.R. Case No.422 of 2024 pending in the court of the learned J.M.F.C., (Cog. Taking), Keonjhar.

It reveals from the F.I.R. that on 05.02.2024 at about 10 AM while the informant came to his village Mayurapankha to take his differently able wife, the present Petitioner along with her husband came and started quarreling with the informant and then the Petitioner’s husband assaulted on the head of the informant by means of a Lathi and threatened him to kill in life.

Considering the nature of the allegations, gravity of the offences and the facts and circumstances of the case, while this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail, it is directed that in the event the Petitioner surrenders and moves for bail before the learned J.M.F.C., in G.R. Case No.422 of 2024 within a period of three weeks from today, she shall be admitted to bail on such terms and conditions as would be deemed just and proper by the said court but subject to verification of the criminal antecedent of the Petitioner and if the injuries are not grievous on the vital part of the body subject further depositing a sum of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand).
