RAMACHANDRAN NAIR, J. ---------------------------------------W.P.(C) No.8917 OF 2012 ---------------------------------------Dated this the 28th day of May, 2012.J U D G M E N T The petitioners, three in number, are respectively the President, Secretary as well as the former Chairman of the Trustee Board of Thanalur Narasimhamoorthi Temple Committee. The main prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to complete the proceedings evidenced by Exts.P1 and P2 and to evict the encroachers as provided under the provisions of Kerala Land Conservancy Act, 1957. The 3rdrespondent herein is the Executive Officer of the ThanalurDevaswom Trustee Board who filed an application as evident from Ext.P1 communication.
When the matter came up for admission on 11.04.2011,this Court directed the petitioners to implead the allegedencroachers. I.A.No.6600/2012 is filed by the petitioners toimplead the additional respondents 6 to 17.

I am not going in to the merits of the matter since the W.P.(C) No.8917/20122petitioners only require the authorised authority to expedite the matter. This writ petition is disposed of with the following directions: There will be a direction to the 1st respondent to expedite the proceedings under the Land Conservancy Act and finalize the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt of acopy of this judgment, after conducting due enquiry and also after allowing an opportunity to adduce evidence for both parties including respondents 6 to 17 and anybody else in possession and after hearing them. The same shall be done after hearing the Executive Officer of the Temple also. The petitioners will forwarda copy of this judgment along with a copy of the writ petition for compliance. T.R.
