K.J.THOMAS STANLEY (RETIRED ADDL. DISTRICT JUDGE) ------------------------------------------------------------- M.A.C.A. NO: 1596 OF 2006-B & C.M.APPLN. 1712 OF 2006 ------------------------------------------------------------- Dated this the 24th March 2008. A W A R D Parties have agreed for a settlement and also on agreement that delay is condoned. Hence delay of 65 days is condoned.
#2. In addition to what has been awarded by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Thrissur, the parties have agreed to settle the matter on payment of an additional amount of Rs.10,000/- by the third respondent to the appellant. The payment will be made within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of the award failing which the amount will carry MACA1596/06 & C.M.APPLN. 1712/06 -2- interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the date of default till payment.
